Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer, and director, famous for his role as the lead of Birdman. He is a versatile actor who is adept at playing comedic in addition to dramatic roles. His career has seen him perform a number of love-interest characters and he's appeared in some action thrillers. When he was in his teens the actor developed an appreciation for acting and performance. He began to try stand-up comedic performances when he was a teenager. The comedian had a lousy career but this paved the way for his career as an actor. In order to be successful in the field of comedy, he got a job as a cameraman at a local cable television station. It was while working there when he realized the way he wanted to work was in front of the camera. After that, he was offered a TV role, appearing in several episodes on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. So it was not a surprise the actor quickly gained a following as a well-known TV actor. After establishing a successful acting career in film, his funny appearances brought him plenty of fame. Additional recognition was received by his portrayal of Batman's famous superhero from Tim Burton's Batman. Over time, his acting skills developed and he was able to look into directing and producing. For his role in Birdman (2014) the actor won numerous awards and nominations.
